We are searching for a talented, highly-experienced Controller/ Analyst / Manager of Finance to provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions. This role is the main finance person in the company today and will ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles

Responsibilities:

• Maintains and processes company payroll and related employment tax payments
• Handles accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Maintains and administrates company benefits
• Manages acquisition of equipment and related lease acquisition
• Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past,
• Prepares financial reports required by management
• Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
• Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies
• Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
• Serve on planning and policy-making committees
• Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
• Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
• Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
